Magatama may be used as fusion material in order to level up daemons. Each magatama contains the memories of certain historical figures which have since passed on. When magatamas are fused with daemons, the daemons inherit the memories stored in the magatama, and thus become stronger.
As with all fusion material, fusing a magatama with a daemon of the same type results in more being obtained. Magatama of higher rarity will give three times the exp of a magatama that is one level below.
